Fuenteseca Reserva Cosecha 2005 Extra Añejo 11 Years Tequila

Fuenteseca Reserva Cosecha 2005 is an 11-year Extra Añejo tequila — distilled in late winter 2006 across a double-copper column still (plates removed for a lower distillation proof) and an alembic pot still, then rested a full 11 years in a cool-climate subterranean barrel room.

One third was aged in American white oak previously used for California red wine; the remaining two thirds in used dark French oak. The room's uppermost portion was opened for soft air circulation to create a drier aging environment.
