A unique small batch Lowland 7 year old whisky, named ‘Fife Peaty Potion’ release by SMWS. As the name suggests this bottling is a real medley of a single malt!
Two styles of whisky were used from the same distillery, one unpeated and the other heavily peated. The resulting blend was married in 1st fill Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez butts for around 18 months before bottling at a great strength of 50% abv.
The neat palate offers a medley of dark and red fruits, mingled together with wood smoke, dark-grained breads, liquorice root, herbal extracts and chip shop brown sauce!
