A 6-year-old undisclosed Lowland single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 2017 and independently bottled by Douglas Laing for their characterful Premier Barrel range.

Premier Barrel is a series of single cask whiskies presented in distinctive ceramic decanters, accompanied by suitably tongue-in-cheek, old-fashioned labels. This particular release is described as “A Favourite Lowland”, with the identity of the Lowland distillery remaining undisclosed.

Distilled in 2017 and matured for six years, this single cask was bottled at 46% without colouring or chill filtration, with a total outturn of just 323 hand-filled decanters.

An intriguing limited-edition Lowland single malt from Douglas Laing, with its undisclosed distillery adding an extra element of mystery to this single cask Premier Barrel release.
