El Tequileño Reposado Rare is an extended-aged version of the El Tequileño Reposado — aged 6 years in a large oak pipón vessel for added depth and complexity in both aroma and flavor, while retaining the reposado classification.
El Tequileño is one of the most traditional tequila producers in Mexico, operating since 1959 in Tequila, Jalisco. The Reposado Rare takes the standard Reposado profile and applies the extended pipón maturation — a large vessel that imparts slower oak influence than smaller barrels.
