The large plant size and shape produce a high concentration of sugars, creating a mezcal known for its softness, subtle aromas, and structural complexity.

Karwinskii varietals take 12–20 years to mature and are wild-harvested rather than cultivated. El Jolgorio’s Madrecuixe presents the elegant, mineral-driven character of the wild karwinskii family through the Cortés family collective’s artisanal small-batch production approach.
