The latest release from Daftmill, this 2013 vintage Lowland Single Malt was bottled in June 2026 as the distillery's Summer Batch Release, limited to 3,775 bottles.

The whisky was distilled during Daftmill's summer season and filled into cask in July 2013. The release comprises 14 first-fill barrels, matured on the upper level of the distillery's dunnage warehouse before being bottled at 46% ABV.

The barley used was the Concerto variety, grown in the South Fields of the Cuthbert family's farm and harvested on 2nd and 3rd September 2011. It was dried and stored on the farm before being malted in Alloa during spring 2012.

Daftmill is a family-owned farm distillery in Fife, operating around the agricultural calendar and distilling principally during the farm's quieter mid-summer and winter periods. Production remains exceptionally small, sometimes amounting to as few as 100 casks per year, while the Cuthbert family also grows the malting barley used to produce its whisky.
