V.E.P. stands for Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé — exceptionally prolonged aging in large oak casks — which gives this Yellow Chartreuse a smoother, richer, and more complex character than the standard bottling. It is made from the same secret blend of 130 herbs, plants, and flowers used across the Chartreuse range since 1605, and comes in a wax-sealed, individually numbered bottle.
