Caol Ila 16 Year Old 2007 Cask Strength Release 53.4%

A 2007 vintage Caol Ila bottled by Cadenhead’s for their Authentic Collection. This release was distilled at Caol Ila the largest distillery on Islay, then matured in a bourbon hogshead for 16 years.

Bottled in August 2024 at a cask strength of 53.4% abv this dram boasts notes of smoked mussels, dark chocolate and iodine. There’s a great maritime character to enjoy here too.
