An exciting ’Sea Monster For Hire’ Caol Ila release by SMWS.
This peated, powerful whisky was distilled on the 3rd of April 2013. The first maturation was in an ex-bourbon hogshead then followed by time in refill #4 plus char hogshead. Bottling was at a cask strength of 58.8% abv.
A wild, smoky, turbulent sea beast. Vigorously peaty, uncomplicated, superbly powerful and with an immensely rich, mouth-slathering texture.
