Caffo Sambuca Secolare is produced by the Caffo family distillery in Limbadi, Calabria — an anise-flavored liqueur made from star anise distillate sweetened and bottled clear at the traditional sambuca strength. Caffo has been distilling in Calabria since 1894; Secolare (“century-old”) references the distillery’s heritage.
