Bunnahabhain 2001 Refill American Hogshead #805 52.5%

We are honoured to present this great Bunnahabhain by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range. Distilled in 2001 and matured for 22 years in a refill American hogshead, cask #805. This outstanding whisky was bottled when just right in August 2024 at a cask strength of 52.5% abv. One of just 228 bottles with natural colour and un chill-filtered. 

We are sure you will love this whisky for its maritime and citrus characteristics. Aromas of lemon peel and red apple leap from the glass. Followed by a rich, full bodied palate full of pineapple, mango and peanut brittle notes, balanced by soft black pepper. There’s a spicy finish with lingering poached pear notes.
