A single cask Highland single malt from Blair Athol Distillery, distilled in June 2011 and bottled by Douglas Laing in September 2022 for their Single Minded range. Matured for 11 years in a refill barrel, cask DL15975 yielded just 268 bottles.

Blair Athol is one of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland and is known for producing a rich, weighty style of Highland malt. Its spirit is particularly well suited to independent bottlings, where individual casks can showcase the distillery's character away from its principal role in blended Scotch whisky.

Douglas Laing's tasting notes describe buttery oat biscuits with cinnamon and honeyed barley on the nose, followed by vanilla-rich, wonderfully creamy malt and milk chocolate on the palate. The finish lingers with gentle spices and warm apple pie.
