Distilled in 2014 and aged for 12 years, this Benromach Contrasts: Wine Finish was initially matured in first-fill bourbon casks before being finished for 26 months in Côte-Rôtie wine casks. Bottled in 2026 at 46% ABV, without chill filtration.

Côte-Rôtie is one of the most renowned wine appellations of the northern Rhône, best known for its Syrah-based red wines. The extended wine cask finish adds another dimension to Benromach's traditionally characterful Speyside spirit, with the distillery describing warm spice and summer berry aromas, dark forest fruits, black pepper and orange zest, followed by lingering subtle smoke.
