This Ben Nevis 2019 7-year-old single malt from Signatory Vintage’s 100 Proof series is a heavily peated Highland whisky, matured in second-fill Oloroso sherry butts and bottled at natural colour without chill filtration. The nose shows campfire smoke, dark raisins and cocoa, while the rich, oily palate delivers smoked barley, treacle, sherried fruit and dark chocolate. The finish is long and warming, with lingering peat smoke, cocoa and drying oak spice.
