Distilled on 5 November 2012 and finished in a fresh Sauternes wine barrique, this limited release showcases Balblair’s natural fruitiness wrapped in the delicate sweetness of the French wine cask.

Cask #3228 yielded just 274 bottles, each presented at a bold natural cask strength of 58.2% abv. The influence of the Sauternes barrique brings layers of golden sweetness beautifully balanced by Balblair’s crisp Highland character.
