The Caribbean climate accelerates the rum ageing process by around three times faster than whisky ageing, but with no reduction in quality as the tropical ageing process develops. As such, this four-year aged rum can be compared to a 12-year old whisky.

Aged under the Caribbean sun for a full four years before being finished in sherry barrels this enhances the dark and rich caramel flavours.
