Distilled at Aultmore in 2009 and matured for 15 years before being bottled in 2025 by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range.

This single cask Speyside whisky was matured in a first-fill Bourbon barrel, cask number 4679, before being bottled on 5th March 2025 at a natural cask strength of 57.3% ABV. The cask yielded just 200 bottles, bottled without chill filtration and with natural colour.

Founded in 1897 near Keith, Aultmore has traditionally been an important component of blended Scotch whisky, with relatively few distillery bottlings appearing over the years. Its spirit is generally regarded for its clean, fresh and fruit-driven character, making independently bottled single casks particularly interesting.

Gordon & MacPhail's tasting notes describe fragrant lemon zest, gorse flowers and apricot jam, followed by pineapple, baked apple and crystallised violets, with a medium-bodied finish showing sweet tropical fruit.
