Auchentoshan 16 Year Old 2007 Cask #4204 Lady of the Glen 55.7%

A Lowland Auchentoshan bottling by Hannah Whisky Merchants for their impressive Lady Of The Glen range. 

The range offers limited-run whiskies from some of the finest Scottish distilleries. Always hand bottled at cask strength with zero tampering. This particular release was distilled on the 31st of October 2017 then matured in refill hogshead with 1st fill ex-Ruby Port finish, cask #4204. Bottled on the 2nd of July 2024 at 55.7% abv, with an outturn of only 244. 

The triple distillation has produced a lighter more delicate style spirit and 17 months finishing in the ex-Ruby Port cask has imparted extra layers red fruit sweetness. Notes of Turkish delight, red liquorice, honeycomb chocolate await the lucky new owner of this great release.
