A single cask Arran 2015 8-year-old single malt whisky, bottled by Douglas Laing for their distinctive Premier Barrel range.

Arran Distillery began production at Lochranza in 1995 and quickly established a reputation for its fresh, fruity and characterful island single malt. The distillery’s relatively light spirit works particularly well at younger ages, retaining plenty of its trademark orchard fruit, citrus and sweet malt character.

Distilled in 2015 and matured for eight years, this single cask was bottled at 46% without colouring or chill filtration. Just 325 hand-filled ceramic decanters were produced.

Douglas Laing’s Premier Barrel series is immediately recognisable for its old-fashioned ceramic decanters, with each release drawn from a single cask and produced in relatively small quantities. This is a particularly attractive young Arran from the range, combining the distillery’s vibrant spirit with the quirky presentation for which Premier Barrel is known.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone!
