Ardnamurchan Sauternes Release 2025 50%

Ardnamurchan AD/ Peated Sauternes Cask Release 2025 is a limited Highland single malt that showcases the distillery’s skill in pairing bold peat with innovative cask maturation. The peated spirit was first aged for three years in ex-bourbon casks before spending a further three and a half years in Sauternes barriques, creating a whisky of richness and balance. Bottled at 50% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural in colour, it offers notes of pineapple upside-down cake, crème de pêche, toasted coconut and shortbread on the nose, followed by nutmeg, dried ginger, orange blossom and earthy peat smoke on the palate, with a long, spicy finish layered with citrus brightness and smoky depth.
