Ardnamurchan 2019 5 Year Old Whisky Oloroso HHD 59.9%

From independent bottler Cadenhead’s comes a great Chairman’s Stock release distilled at Ardnamurchan distillery. This expressive 5 year old was distilled in 2019 then matured in a single Oloroso hogshead before bottling at 59.9% abv. 

Aromas of oregano and sugarcane are complemented by notes pancetta, strawberry tart jelly and BBQ ribs on the palate. The finish offers hints of sea salt, paprika, marjoram and molasses. 

One of just 312 bottles were released of this excellent single cask Highland whisky.
