This particular Ardnamurchan was christened Ardnagherkin as it was judged to have some rather unusual and distinctive funky notes of pickle juice, honey and cured meats.

This 6-year-old Ardnamurchan Ardnagherkin 2015 came from single cask 672, a former Glen Moray cask which yielded 253 bottles at its mighty natural cask strength of 59.9%, and has subsequently become something of a cult whisky.
