Ardbeg Rare Cask 001 2020 Release 57.7%

The stunning Ardbeg Rare Cask 001 was the first release the Rare Cask series in 2020. This collectable 9 year old whisky is both rich and spicy after being aged in oloroso sherry cask then transferred for finishing in virgin American oak. The palate reveals intense tarry notes, dark chocolate, clove, aniseed, black pepper with hints of cumin and ginger. A rare cask indeed and one of just 354 bottles.
