A bottle of Ardbeg Ardcore Islay single malt whisky, which was introduced at the 2022 Feis Ile, the annual festival of whisky and music on Islay.

Ardbeg Ardcore's claim to fame is that it was made using 'black malt', a heavily roasted malted barley that is even darker than the famous chocolate malt included in sister distillery Glenmorangie's much-loved Signet expression. Ardbeg Ardcore is bottled at 46% and boasts charcoal and bitter dark chocolate flavours alongside the customary brine and tarry rope.
