Aberfeldy 2012-2022 | 10 Year Old Douglas Laing Provenance Single Cask DL16032
Beskrivning
Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 59%
Distilled at Aberfeldy in September 2012 and matured for 10 years before being bottled in September 2022 by Douglas Laing for their Provenance range.
This Highland single malt was drawn from a refill barrel, cask DL16032, and bottled at cask strength of 59% ABV without chill filtration or added colouring. The single cask release was limited to just 236 bottles.
Douglas Laing's Provenance range showcases single malt and single grain whiskies from individual casks, allowing the character of individual distilleries and casks to take centre stage.
Aberfeldy's spirit is produced using long fermentation times and traditional wooden washbacks, helping to encourage the fruity character associated with the distillery. This refill-barrel example offers an opportunity to explore that distillery character at full cask strength, with relatively restrained wood influence.
Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.
