Following the Aberargie Inaugural Single Malt 2026, two new Aberargie Expressions have been created to showcase the distillery's choice of barley, focusing separately on Golden Promise heritage barley and Laureate barley.

This Laureate Expression has been produced entirely from 100% Laureate, a modern barley variety selected for its resilience and flavour potential. The whisky has been matured in a combination of 68% first fill sherry butts and 32% first fill bourbon casks, with the sherry-led maturation complementing Laureate's vibrant and elegant character.

Bottled at 48.2%, Aberargie Laureate Expression brings notes of candied orange peel, dried fruits and ripe orchard fruit, leading to a lingering honeyed finish. An intriguing counterpart to the Golden Promise Expression and a chance to explore the role of barley variety in Aberargie's developing house style.
