Following the Aberargie Inaugural Single Malt 2026, two new Aberargie Expressions have been created to showcase the distillery's choice of barley, focusing separately on Golden Promise heritage barley and Laureate barley.

This Golden Promise Expression has been produced entirely from 100% Golden Promise, a historic barley variety renowned for its rich flavour and long association with Scotch whisky. The whisky has been matured in a combination of 68% first fill bourbon casks and 32% first fill sherry butts, with the bourbon-led maturation highlighting the naturally rich and structured character of the barley.

Bottled at 48.2%, Aberargie Golden Promise Expression offers a rich, indulgent profile of buttery pastry, baked orchard fruits and gentle spice. A fascinating opportunity to explore the character of this celebrated heritage barley variety in Aberargie's Highland single malt.
